Yesterday I had the privilege of attending an awesome blogging class as Teahouse Studio taught by Britt Bravo.
It was a really great prep for me before I head to Alt this week. I'm headed to Alt in TWO DAYS!!! I'm so excited!
There were about 20 of us in the blogging class. It really helped get my creative juices going and helped me to really brainstorm where I want this blog to go. I came up with some great series that I can't wait to share with you all.
Britt was an amazing teacher, and one of the greatest things about the class was all the incredible women that were there! It was such an important reminder for me that bloggers come from all different places and are blogging for all different reasons. Around our table there were authors, artists, poets, enthusiasts, photo journalists, and many more.
and did I mention there were delicious cupcakes from batter & dough:
As a part of the class, I was trying to put my finger on why I blog. Is it just an online journal for me? I'm not trying to create a business or to sell a product through my blog.
and it dawned on me, for me blogging is about taking the time to focus on who I want to be. And also about reflection. I fly through my life in autopilot sometimes without taking the time to process. Blogging helps me stop and reflect on my life.
Blogging gives us a voice and allows us to share a piece of ourselves with the world. I am so inspired by all the women I met yesterday. Check out their awesome sites and blogs:
